9-months-old session.  Looking forward to the 1-year-old session!!

I worried all week about what the weather would do for this session... would the snow melt, would the temperature warm up a bit.  It was still a little chilly outside, but nothing like the first of the week. When we set the session up and trains or tracks were requested I already had a couple of ideas.  I think the places worked perfectly for a little train loving boy's third birthday pictures.

spur of the moment

Spur of the moment can be a good thing. I got a call on a Saturday and about 45 mintues later we were in the middle of their photo session. Earlier in the week I'd been noticing this downtown area and knew I wanted to do shots there. I've known this family for several years and loved getting to take their pictures! The girls have grown up so much. It was a quick shoot due to frigid temperature and brutal wind, but I'm happy with the shots! Kim, you'll LOVE the rest! Thanks for letting me do the session!

Fall afternoon...

I was so happy to be able to do another session for this family! The boys had grown so much since our session last fall. There are so many cute shots it was really hard to pick just a few for the preview. Enjoy!
